Welcome to Launch & Ladder Pub, the dream of a man who's spent over a decade pouring into SLO's beer scene, Mike Gasbarra. From running the California Festival of Beers to founding the Visalia Brewing Company, Gasbarra knows a thing or two about what makes a great taproom.

This one is a tribute to his two sons, Austin and Connor. One a propulsion engineer, the other a firefighter, the two can be occasionally be spotted enjoying a drink at their old man's bar. And that's where the name comes from: Launch for aerospace, Ladder for fire service. Look closely and you'll spot the tributes scattered throughout our pub. Model space shuttles sit atop the tap towers and silver ladders hang against the walls. We boast a massive copper bar, rich dark-green walls, and twenty taps pouring the best of the Central Coast. Being the closest bar to Cal Poly, there's always something going on and with daily specials, Launch and Ladder can be your go-to place every night of the week.
